Terms of Use

Effective August 28, 2026

Using NC Wedding Guide

By using the NC Wedding Guide website, public API, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, you agree to these terms. You may use the service to research and plan North Carolina weddings, compare public vendor information, and prepare or send inquiries. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Directory information

We work to keep listings useful and accurate, but vendor details, availability, prices, ratings, capacity, services, and policies can change. A listing is not an endorsement, guarantee, or promise that a vendor is suitable or available. Verify important details directly with the business before booking or paying.

Contact requests

Contact features can record your interest and prepare an inquiry using a vendor's public email address. When you confirm a lead request, you authorize NC Wedding Guide to share the approved contact and wedding details with that selected business. We state whether the request was delivered. You remain responsible for your later dealings with the vendor.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the service unlawfully, deceptively, or to harass or spam people;
  • attempt to bypass security, access non-public data, or disrupt the service;
  • misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority to act for a vendor;
  • submit malicious code or overload the service with abusive automated traffic; or
  • republish the directory as a competing database without written permission.

Vendor content and claims

If you submit or manage a listing, you confirm that you have the right to provide its content and that the information is accurate. You give NC Wedding Guide permission to display, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the directory. Business names, photos, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend access or remove content when reasonably needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, or comply with law.

No warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, NC Wedding Guide disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Wedding plans and vendor contracts involve independent judgment; NC Wedding Guide is not a party to them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NC Wedding Guide will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data or profits, or disputes between users and vendors arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to hello@ncweddingguide.com.
